CT80 Electric Tunnel Thruster
This composite, twin propeller, DC tunnel thruster is undeniably the best selling model in the Max Power electric tunnel thruster range. Available in 12V or 24V, the CT80 is perfectly suited to motor yachts and deep footed sailing yachts in the popular 25’-44’ size range.
With its 185mm tunnel diameter and thrust rating up to 65/143 (kg/lbs) on the 12V model, or 80/176 (kg/lbs) on the 24V model, this powerful yet economic thruster integrates all the unique features common to the range and is fitted as standard on a large variety of yachts.
* Thrusters are designed to run at 10.75V on 12V units and 22V on 24V units. Higher voltages will result in higher thrust ratings, higher power consumption, and a reduced duty cycle.
* Performance data is given for a thruster installed at an immersion depth of one tunnel’s diameter, in a tunnel no longer than twice the tunnel’s diameter, and this within a variation of + / – 6%. Longer tunnels will result in lower thrust ratings and higher power consumption.

CT80-IP Ignition Protected Bow Thruster
Available in 12V or 24V, the CT80-IP is perfectly suited to motor boats and deep footed sailing yachts in the popular 25’-44’ size range. Ignition protected thrusters are ideal for motor boats. Their unique feature is the totally sealed housing around every electric part. This feature provides optimal ignition protection because it doesn’t allow any fuel fumes enter the electric parts and cause spark ignition. In addition, the sealed housing prevents water and humidity from entering the electric parts area and keeps it dry.

The Max Power Stern Pod offers an innovative solution to the often difficult task of installing a thruster into the stern of modern motor yachts.
Combining a dry area on the stern with correct immersion depth and sufficient access is often a challenge.
Designed with these constraints in mind, Stern Pod units can be installed entirely from the outside of the transom, reducing greatly the need for inside access. This allows greater immersion depth to be achieved.
The Stern Pod housing is waterproof and ignition protected (ISO 8846) designed to withstand the corrosive damp atmosphere of the bilge. Entirely assembled and tested in our factory, Stern Pod units guarantee long term trouble-free operation with only minimal maintenance care.
